Welcome to Projects – a vibrant collection of the things I’ve created, explored and experimented with! This site is a personal showcase of the work I’ve done during my studies and in my spare time: from detailed maps and vivid renderings to precise CAD/BIM models, creative challenges and all the fascinating bits that didn’t quite fit anywhere else. It’s a place where curiosity, design and problem solving come together – and I’m excited to share it with you!
Cartography
Cartography is the awesome science and technology of map production. It’s so exciting: it encompasses the creation, distribution and analysis of maps! Cartography is an exhilarating interplay of art, science and technology.
I’m totally fascinated by the power of data analysis and mapping. It’s incredible how you can take complex data and transform it into something beautiful and understandable. It’s like you can make the invisible visible and give it a voice.

3D Modelling
3D modelling is the stunning craft of building digital objects and worlds. It’s thrilling: you start with a blank virtual space and sculpt every curve, edge and surface until your idea explodes into three dimensions! 3D modelling is a joyful blend of art, mathematics and technological wizardry working in perfect harmony.
I’m really fascinated by how modelling allows pure imagination to take shape – and rendering turns that shape into something you can almost touch. When you hit render, the scene explodes with light, shadow and texture. It’s like flicking a switch that makes the invisible visible, giving your brainstorm a voice, a mood and a spotlight all at once.

CAD / BIM
CAD/BIM is the exciting world where design meets digital precision! It’s the fusion of computer-aided design and building information modelling – tools that bring buildings to life before a single brick is laid. CAD/BIM is a dazzling dance of architecture, engineering and technology. I’m fascinated by how these systems turn abstract ideas into detailed, data-rich models. It’s like watching imagination take shape in real time, turning vision into virtual reality!

Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous is the wonderfully wild corner where everything else lives – the ideas that don’t fit into neat categories, but are too good to leave out! It’s a delightful mix of surprises, experiments and creative detours. I love this area because it’s full of freedom and unexpected inspiration. It’s where curiosity rules and anything goes – seriously, who doesn’t love a little organised chaos?

#12WeekGeoChallenge
Similar to the #30DayMapChallenge, friends and I started the #12WeekGeoChallenge. The goal was not to create a new map every day, but only one map per week. This allows you to spend much more time on a single map and prevents stress.

#30DayMapChallenge 2023
I participated in the #30DayMapChallenge 2023. The aim was to create a map every day on a specific topic and share it with the geocommunity. My goal was to create all 30 maps, which I really enjoyed. I was able to learn new methods and skills and develop my existing ones.

#30DayMapChallenge 2025
After a year away, I’m back and have completed the #30DayMapChallenge in 2025! Creating 30 maps every day in November was challenging again, but each one pushed me to try something different and explore a new angle of cartography. It showed me how much you can create when you show up every day.
